Colin Mackey
Chief Operating Officer
A mining engineer by background, Mr Mackey is a well-known mining leader with international experience. He has worked with Goldfields, BHP and Theiss, before joining Rio Tinto in 2003, where he led the construction, development and operational improvement of multiple mining operations within the company’s portfolio. His most recent role was as Managing Director of Jadar and European Operations for Rio Tinto. Colin is a member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Richard Holmes
Chief Development Officer
Mr Holmes is a copper executive with extensive experience in exploration and project development. He has held senior roles focused on driving exploration strategy and advancing growth opportunities across base metals portfolios. Most recently, Mr Holmes served as Chief Development Officer at Sandfire Resources, where he led exploration and business development strategy across the company’s portfolio. Prior to this, he was Head of Exploration & Growth at OZ Minerals, where he contributed to portfolio strategy and the discovery of the Jericho Copper Deposit in Queensland.
Christofer Catania
Chief Technical Officer
Mr Catania is an accomplished mining engineer and executive with extensive global experience driving technical and operational excellence, with a specialized focus on copper. He has a proven track record of steering complex mining assets from early-stage feasibility studies through to large-scale production. Most recently, Chris served as Senior Vice President, Global Resources at Worley (ASX:WOR), where he led major technical, operational, and strategic resource initiatives across multiple international jurisdictions. His previous leadership roles include CEO of technical advisory firm MEC Mining and Chief Engineer for KAZ Minerals, a major open-pit copper producer. Chris also brings strong governance expertise and advanced sector insight, currently serving as a Non-Executive Director for Emesent.
Jeff Sommers
Chief Financial Officer
Mr Sommers brings more than two decades of executive finance experience in the areas of finance and business strategy with extensive experience in people leadership, process and system transformation, capital and cashflow management, M&A and project finance. Mr Sommers has worked across various ASX-listed and international organisations including KPMG, AMP, Qantas, GenesisCare, Lion and Folium Capital where he served as CFO for the fund’s Australian agricultural investments. Mr Sommers holds a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Angus Miles
VP – Corporate Development
Mr Miles is a corporate development and capital markets professional with experience across transactions, equity markets and investor engagement within the resources sector. He joined the Company as Vice President of Corporate Development and has since expanded his role to lead Investor Relations. He has previously held roles at Azure Capital and EY, where he advised on mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and strategic transactions. More recently, Mr Miles held corporate development and investor relations roles at GreenTech Metals (ASX:GRE), supporting the execution of growth initiatives and engagement with institutional and retail investors.
David Hwang
Company Secretary
David is a corporate lawyer, company secretary and advisor to Boards and management of pre-IPO and ASX listed entities. David regularly advises emerging and listed entities across a range of compliance, legal, governance and strategic matters. David is the Managing Director of Confidant Partners, which provides ASX compliance, company secretarial and Board advisory services. Prior to this, David was a senior executive at a leading integrated technology solutions and professional services provider, where he led Australia’s largest outsourced company secretarial and legal team.
